Published Charts available from the SIO Geological Data Center ============================================================== Compiled by Virginia Wells, SIO/GDC, (revised 1 September 1998) Most of the charts offered here are bathymetric charts of the Pacific Ocean produced by SIO staff members during the period of the late 1960's through the early 1990's. GDC is an authorized distributor for the GEBCO (General Bathymetric Chart of the Oceans, 5th edition), a set of charts covering the World Ocean consisting of one world chart and 16 regional charts in Mercator projection plus two polar projection charts of the poles. Also included are maps from gridded datasets of gravity anomaly and estimated topography derived from satellite altimetry as well as seafloor age.
